Scope of works: A private client contracted us to demolish an existing residential building on Lovat Drive, Knutsford. This included full demolition works, breaking out all concrete foundations and slabs and removal of all waste from site. We were also asked to clear the site ready for the new build. Due to our professional attitude and the quick, but safe manner of our works we were awarded the groundworks on site.

These groundworks included excavation and concrete works for new foundations, brickwork and blockwork to damp proof course, all external foul and surface works and service works. We then installed a beam and block floor and a concrete slab to the garage.

Furthermore, we installed a scaffold base and foundations for a new garden wall, including a step to accommodate the fall in the ground.

Delivery targets: 3-5 skilled operatives worked on Lovatt Drive over a 5-week period, this job was for a private client for full foundation work.

Innovation: On this project we had a young operative on work experience, Tom Bagley Groundworks believes in supporting the local community in employment. The young operative is now a full-time employee of Tom Bagley Groundworks, and is undergoing paid for training to further his skill set.
